JULIE-ANN JAMES

Julie-ann is personally involved in the training of all new Aquababies teachers and is a tutor for two governing bodies: The UK STA and SCTA Swim Australia.

She still teaches classes and has a roster of private clients for one-to-one sessions. Satisfied customers include Dido, Robin van Persie, Thierry Henry, Tony Blair, Jack Dee, Ruby Wax and Pat Cash and many more.

RAY MURPHY

Growing up in Sydney, Australia, I developed a deep passion for the water, spending summers at the beach and winters at the local pool. As a competitive swimmer throughout school, this passion naturally evolved into a career as a swimming teacher. Since 2006, I’ve been teaching at a private health club in London, and in 2017, I began working with babies and toddlers. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help parents teach their little ones such a vital life skill. I’m now thrilled to join the Aquababies team, fostering a lifelong love of water for every swimmer.

    Fantastic new swim school! Ray and Alli who run Aqua Babies are super friendly and couldn’t be more accommodating. The pool is warm and clean. Basically my kids LOVE it.     Excellent swimming school under new management, lovely clean fresh facilities, warm pool with deep end, really engaging teacher who gets into the pool with the kids. My 4 kids have a private lesson all together which works out good value and much more convenient! I’ve seen a lot of progress after only half a term. Admin side is also well managed.

She struggles even to get water near her face in the bath/shower, and is of very slow-to-warm temperament - so we knew swimming lessons would be challenging. But they've been so amazing here, Ray is a great instructor and she's gone from not wanting to go near the water to going underwater in a matter of a couple sessions! Very impressed. Would recommend
